WHO WE ARE

The South Lake Crime Prevention Fund, a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 1981 with the sole mission of supporting the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department. Led by an all-volunteer board of local residents and representatives of local civic groups and service clubs, the South Lake Crime Prevention Fund has raised and invested more than $183,000 since 1993 for protective gear, equipment, educational and training programs and other needs that are not able to be funded by the four cities the SLMPD serves.
