OUR PURPOSE

Because the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department (SLMPD) cannot accept financial gifts from the community, the South Lake Crime Prevention Fund (SLCP), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, collaborates with businesses and individuals to raise funds for designated uses such as protective gear, equipment, educational and training programs and other items and programs that are not able to be funded by the four cities the SLMPD serves. ​

FUNDRAISING AND EVENTS

In addition to raising money through cash donations and fundraising events, the South Lake Crime Prevention Fund volunteers help facilitate other SLMPD events throughout the year including food drives, safety camps, classroom visits and more!

The South Lake Minnetonka Police Department proudly serves the communities of Excelsior, Greenwood, Shorewood and Tonka Bay.
